The VISION
Label Director - Mischa Tangian
A composer, producer and musician - our artistic director supervises the musical output of the label and manages the portfolio of diverse artists. Every artist and group is chosen for its unique cultural heritage and personal approach to modern folk music and the creation of contemporary soundscapes.
As a label - A2B records looks to connect artists with businesses - concert organisers, corporations, producers and music institutions. Also collaborations between artists in order are fostered to create stronger networks for independent artists, diverse and non-European voices, for people of colour and minorities in particular. To build a growing community in Germany to support these individual voices, traditional or contemporary styles of art which are not following the mainstream or belong to endangered traditions is a long-term goal of A2B records.
